 How To Order

When available, dyed to order yarns and colourways can be found here. To place an order, select your chosen colourway or set. After choosing a colourway, select which base yarn you would like, select the quantity, and click add to cart. Sets and trios are generally only available in one base yarn.

Yarn & Colourway Availability

A selection of yarns and colourways will be available for order periodically. I will be rotating through various base yarns and colourways, so be sure to check back for the next selection. I will have to close dyed to order options without notice if I reach capacity of what I can dye in the turn around time of 6-8 weeks. 

Colourway & Yarn Variations

Due to the hand dyed process and various factors at play, colourways may vary slightly from those photographed. It is best to use the photographs as a guide rather than a set in stone example. Dyeing yarn is an artistic process and while no two batches may be identical each is guaranteed to be beautiful. Some factors that can cause differences between batches and colourways include the undyed yarn lot, the dyes, my artistic eye, and so on. Colourways may also appear differently on each computer or phone screen they are view on. 

Turn Around Times

Dyed to order yarns take approximately 6-8 weeks to ship from the date of order. This allows me enough time to dye all of the colourway and yarn combinations ordered. I will often get them out before the 6-8 week mark, however I sometimes need extra time depending on the demand for certain colourways and yarns. It is only me dyeing, twisting and shipping out all of these gorgeous yarns.

How Orders Are Fulfilled

I dye each colourway and yarn combination in batches of 18. Unfortunately I cannot have every colourway and yarn ready to ship at the same time as I would have no room left for me! I fulfill orders in the order that they are placed, as long as I have the dyed yarn ready to go. If you place an order that includes many colourways and different yarn bases, it will take longer to ship as I will have to have dyed each batch before I can ship out your order. If you place an order for a sweater quantity of one colourway it will generally ship out a bit quicker. Please be sure to place one order so that I can ensure dye batches will match if ordering multiples of one colourway. Unfortunately I cannot always combine orders placed separately.
